The localtion is great and very centralise. It is convenience to all attraction.
The first thing we don't like is the shower head which is terrible and water is not spreading to body but everywhere; the second thing some staff is not really helpful. When we asked something about tour information, she is not willing to help and quite arrogant. She even said only thing she can do it for us it book tour.
It was great close to the beach hospitals esplande and close near the city everything at hand reach would stay there again.
Having the use of a kitchen reduced the cost of meals
All was ok
Great Hotel, rooms very clean and good size. Very quiet no noise from others or from traffic. The diy breakfast was excellent and no shortage of tea/ coffee/ bread etc. All very well organised. Free shuttle to airport was excellent. Plenty of tea/coffee in the bedrooms, loads of hot water and towels. Would recommend to anyone.
The hotel is quite a walk into the main part of town which is good because you don't get the noise of people and traffic but after a long day seeing the sights, can be a treck if you want to visit the restaurants and bars. Small children would find it too far.
Clean spacious room
Noisy neighbours and paper thin Walls make for no sleep. Music blaring after 10pm. Shared facilities very basic and pool is more like a pond (size wise)
Extremely clean. Good hot shower. Quick trip so not at liberty to comment further
Alarm clock was a bit suss
The included breakfast by the pool was a great start to the day. The location was good - short walk to city centre and esplanade. Would stay there again. The bed was comfortable and the reception staff friendly.
location is good, and it's really value of its rate. the room really feel relex when we come in. It likes an inn, not more space to go ground outside..Any way, this inn deserves to stay with its reasonable price and the room, you really feel relax
The room is clean and spacious, simple but beautifully decorated. The public kitchen gives option to make your own meal when local cusine is not to your like. It balances well between the budget and quality when you take it as a base for your trip to the rainforest and the great barrier reef.
No much to complain though the staff is not always around. We were out during the day time and just came back to sleep.
quiet, tasteful and clean interior, nice pool (small)good value for money , have already recommended to other regional locals needing accommodation whilst in Cairns
The staff were very helpful, the location was good.
The room was smelly. It had a mild to moderate scent of mold and manure. The room itself was nice enough, but the smell was problematic.
breakfast and airport shuttles included. relatively close to the restaurant and seafront
slightly sparse decor
very clean, always had a car park, close to city, provided breakfast, quiet, balcony, secluded swimming pool area, great aaa++++
Excellent location, convenient to facilities that I required during my stay. Within easy walking distance to the city along the esplanade. Continental Breakfast included very convenient. Washing machine on premises was also an advantage, costing 3 dollars for a load.
Had some noisy neighbors over the back, who seemed to wait until 11pm before escalating with their noise level. Turning the air conditioner on drowned out the noise, enabling some sleep.
Free airport shuttle. Clean room. Very quiet.
The bathrooms need updating desperately but they were clean. The breakfast was 3 kinds of cereal and white bread, so not so great. It is a 15-20 minute walk each way to the main area of town where all the restaurants and the boat terminal is for all of your reef trips. Early in the morning and after a long day that walk sucks.
